Event Details

Look, I know it's not easy to take time out of your day to day to invest in the future of your business and career.

But, I also know this...

“Innovation and Marketing are the only two things that create value for the enterprise. Everything else is a cost center.” -Peter Drucker

So, I want to help you...and I want you to help me.

Together, we're going to find inspiration for our Innovation and Marketing minds with an efficient, inspiring, and exciting visit to the National Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center.

  1. First, we are going to get a guided tour of the facility by Admiral Gene Harshbarger (USN ret.) who will talk about the role of innovation in the technology we see.
  2. Then, we'll sit down over coffee to discuss what we heard and share our business challenges with each other.
  3. Finally, we'll all exchange business cards with each other and walk away with some new contacts for our networks (in addition to the good ideas and inspiration)

This is the 3rd Never Stop Marketing Field Seminar (read about the visits to the National Gallery of Art and the Torpedo Factory).

There are two types of people who read this far.

  1. People who will commit to attending and then bail out that morning when they focus on the "urgent" instead of the "important"
  2. People who have the discipline to set aside GROWTH time in their schedules, can commit to attending, and then will actually DO IT.

Hope you are Type 2.

Here's a bit more on Admiral Harshbarger.

RADM Eugene B. Harshbarger retired from the U.S. Navy Supply Corps after a career of over thirty years specializing in Navy shipbuilding and major weapons systems procurement.  As a Navy Flag Officer, he was the Deputy Commander for Contracts; Naval Sea Systems Command with responsibility for management of the Federal Government’s largest contracting office.  RADM Harshbarger completed his Navy service as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Acquisition Policy with responsibility for establishment and implementation of procurement policy as well as management of the Navy’s procurement system with annual business of over $40 billion.

Subsequent to his Navy career, RADM Harshbarger was the Director, Acquisition Policy for Northrop Grumman Ship Systems. After retiring from the private sector, RADM Harshbarger has devoted considerable time to volunteer activities including several years as a Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia Board of Directors member and House Leader.  Currently, he volunteers as a Docent for the National Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center.
